SEIS / DRACE finishes the GRC façade of the Hotel Ritz Carlton in Irelanda
Article published in the Sunday Business Post of Ireland.
Andrew Nasskau, manager of the Hotel Ritz Carlton that is about to open in Powerscourt, Ireland, has high expectations for this €200 million project and says that nothing like it has been built in Ireland considering its location and category.
This enormous hotel will have 200 rooms, a conference center, a number of restaurants and one of the largest spas in Europe.
THE LOCATION
The five star hotel is located next to the famous Powerscourts Mansion, a national monument. This is a spot with special energy and the views are breathtaking. It has been designed to reflect the surroundings being located in the middle of a forest in the depths of a valley and only visible from the air.
THE RITZ CARLTON CHAIN
The Ritz-Carlton is a chain of luxury hotels whose motto is to anticipate the customer’s desires and pamper them with a touch of distinction.
Luxury always has its price, however. Of the 200 rooms, more that 120 are suites. The least expensive rooms cost 490€ per night, making this one of the most expensive hotels in the country, and a night in the Presidential Suite, with 2,500 sq.ft, is listed at 5000€.
The high prices do not appear to be a deterrent for prospective guests. To date more than 500 couples have been received who want to celebrate their wedding in the new hotel.
DISTINCTIVE DETAILS
The hotel is full of details like a ball room that opens directly onto the gardens, a private dining room in the kitchen that is attended directly by the chef and a spa that occupies two plants and has a steam bath and a swimming pool with the bottom decorated with Swaroski crystals. |
