Façades
Enclosing walls built of precast concrete panels have the following advantages and features:
· durability
· quick to build/install
· fire resistant
· sound insulating
· no scaffolding required
· low maintenance
· many surface treatments: exposed aggregate, fretted texture, pigmentation...
Dimensions
The dimensions of a panel is conditioned by:
· sizes of the molding tables
· clearance height for hauling
· weight
· force of the wind

The main material used to precast these panels is HA 30 concrete with a strength of 30Kn/m2.
Aggregates have a continuous grain size, the maximum being 20mm in diameter, and the sand has a diameter under 5mm.
The concrete's plastic consistency is 5 cm according to Abraham's Cone.
The atmosphere created corresponds to the surrounding environment.
Plastifying agents increase the concrete's workability making it possible to reduce the amount of water used in the mix and thereby increase its strength. |
